Last updated October 9, 2026. Greatest Things Ever is a waitlist for now; this page will change when the app opens, and we’ll say so here.
The short version
We keep your email and the things you chose to save with it, so we can tell you when the list opens and have your things waiting. We don’t sell data, run ads, or use tracking cookies.
What we store
Things you type on the home page stay in your browser until you leave an email. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, which form you used, and the things you added (each name and its color), with the time you signed up.
When the app opens, an account will hold your list: names, colors, optional notes, stars, and any pages you choose to share. Sign-in is a code sent to your email; there is no password.
Who handles it
A few services run the site for us. Each one only gets what it needs:
- Vercel hosts the site and counts visits with Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
- Neon stores the waitlist database.
- Resend sends our emails, so it sees your address and the message.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a signup comes from a person, not a bot. It looks at signals from your browser for that check only.
The people who run Greatest Things Ever can read what’s stored. It isn’t end-to-end encrypted.
Sharing
Your list is private. When sharing opens, a share page will be public to anyone with its link, notes stay off it unless you turn them on, and you can turn the link off at any time. A scan code on a print opens only a page you chose to share.
Joining the waitlist means one confirmation now, one email when the list opens, and an occasional note. Ask us to take you off and we will.
Getting it deleted
You can ask us to delete your waitlist signup and the things saved with it at any time; see Contact. When the app opens, you’ll be able to export your list and delete your account yourself, which removes the list, the notes and any share links.
